Okay, just a few I need rectified. I. How exactly are battles here run? Do you rely more on stats as in-game or more on the creativity of the person hence best writer wins (Unless there's a major weakness factor)? II. Is it acceptable for Psychic and certain Ghost Pokemon to be able to communicate with their trainers via telepathic speech? III. Is it possible for the site to get a chatbox that eschews the word limit? Not nit-picking or anything--just that it gets a little annoying when posts are cut halfway sometimes. IV. Just a suggestion, but this was picked up by a guest earlier---while I understand that it's for stylistic purposes, could you consider adding capitalization to the board descriptors and application codes? It really does make things easier to read. ^^ Also, I'm just curious... this promo which was to celebrate the opening of the site was started up on July 24th only to close on August 3rd despite mentioning that it would be running for a month (Which I assume would be from the starting date of the post to thirty days on) and having only twelve people accept their promotional Pokemon. Was there a reason it was cut short? Thank you kindly for your time ^^

Well, I' gonna answer these to the best of my abilities, but some of them will have to wait for Flore or Fauna to return. :3 But, here goes nothin'~
I. Both and neither, at the same time, I think. We try to keep it realistic. Here's my take on it: We don't want to rely super heavily on the stats, because that would make it boring. However we don't want to rely on the member's writing skills either, because then some people (-coughlikemecough-) would never win any battles, simply because they don't have as much experience or talent as others.
Since there was never anything specifically saying how battles were to be won / fought, we just kinda winged it. Here are some examples of battles, both Trainer vs wild Pokemon and Trainer vs. Trainer: #1 - #2 - #3 . That's how we've been doing it, hopefully it helps to answer your question. Okay, so battle #2 wasn't exactly a typical battle- we haven't really had a 'typical' wild pokemon battle yet. Heh.
II. Thiiiiis is one I'm gong to have to leave to the admins. ^.^;;; Sorreh.
III. Another one I'm going to have to leave to the admins. But I definitely agree. Stupid character limit.
IV. Same as the past two answers. Derp, I'm so helpful. x.X
The promo? Yes, I see. Since it says "the promotion will only last for a month or until we reach our twentieth member, not counting the staff," I can see that it must have been locked because of a miscalculation. We have 22 members, but 4 of those are staff, so we can have two more members join before it should actually be closed. I will reopen it (hopefully Flora will not smite me) and anybody who has not participated will be allowed to do so. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. :)

Double post just to bring this to attention: In a scenario of trainer vs trainers, are they to determine the winner between themselves or does a mod need to come in when they see fit? Just asking since one might come across a case where two trainers might refuse to lose and all. It happens.
Also, how do trade-only evolutions like Alakazam/Machamp work here? Because trading back and forth between members sounds a little odd....o.o
