the roulant plains are very similar to that african savannah in that they grasses are tall and a bit brittle. often times, the students come here to be alone. it is dry and there is little wing, but it is eerily quiet. most common pokemon types seen here are normal and flying. some carnivorous bird pokemon like fearow and swellow enjoy circling the plains for weak or deceased pokemon to prey on. there have been reports of attacks of that nature before, so it is not wise to bring inexperienced pokemon out even when you're nearby. the hunters won't cease to swoop down and attempt to taken them from you. it is best to travel to the plains in pairs or with a strong pokemon.
