Guaranteed to blow your mind….
Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Walking into the courtyard, William sighed. He really didn’t like exercising, but it was important for his Pokemon to get some fresh air in order for them to grow healthily. He had really wanted to read the new breeding textbook he had gotten for school too, but he guessed that there was no use trying to fight that now. He had brought it out with him anyway, so that he could hopefully have some peace and quiet, but he doubted that he could find that in the crowded courtyard. Walking in, he saw students all over, trainers practicing battling and coordinators developing a routine with their Pokemon. Seeing a relatively abandoned corner with a bench, he took two Pokeballs from his bag, sending out Knight and Soul, his two Pokemon. The Psychic type reacted first, happily floating around her trainer as he sat down on the bench, while Knight seemed to glare around at the other students here at the academy. He was looking for someone to fight, in order to prove his skills to his trainer. Keeping an eye on the Pawniard, he opened the book to the two pages that he had marked down beforehand, hoping to read up on his two new captures. Of course, he knew the basic facts about them, such as their evolutions, their movesets and, most importantly to him, their egg groups, but there were some very specific facts about them that he wanted to reacquaint himself with. He would have to do a bit of exercise in order to keep them happy in a little bit, but he felt that this was much more important at the moment.
“I’m really going to have to get out and catch more Pokemon soon, won’t I?” he said softly to himself, even though Soul, hanging over his shoulder reading the book along with him, seemed to nod to the sentiment. He was seriously at a loss, since neither of his Pokemon were compatible. He would really hate to go out and have to go through that effort. He had been fortunate with his first two Pokemon, since both were basically a gift, but in truth Will didn’t like all the time he would have to invest. He was fine with the mechanics of battling, that was something that was ingrained into his head. But he hated having to waste time that he could be studying searching for Pokemon that he might not even fine. He wasn’t a fan of risks like that.
“Maybe I can find a student who would be willing to let me breed their Pokemon, right Knight?” Will said, looking away from his book for a second. However, there was no Pawniard around when he had asked. Out of the corner of his eye, William saw the Sharp Blade Pokemon running toward a group of trainer, hoping to start a fight in order to show off his skills. Will sighed, putting down the book and running to the group, hoping to retrieve his Pokemon before it caused permanent damage to itself or his reputation.

Lorelei was presumably just another face in the courtyard- at least to William Lyell. The petite was just a yard or two away from the bench where the breeding major had decided to take a break and read his big, important-looking book. She was laying on her back on the ground, staring up and out into space. Jewel, her Spoink, was bouncing aimlessly around, jabbering nonsense in PokeSpeech and just having a good time all around. Lorelei was never sure exactly what went on in that Psychic type's head.
Lorelei's other two Pokemon, Ellie the Deerling and Mack the Makuhita, were much calmer than their excitable friend. Ellie was laying perpendicular to her trainer, with her head on Lorelei's hip. Lorelei was stroking Ellie's green head absentmindedly. Mack was just chillin' in the background, about a foot behind Lorelei's head, trying to look tough with his yellow arms folded in front of his yellow chest.
When Lorelei wasn't out exploring the academy's grounds, she generally could be found here in the courtyard. She tried to spend as little time in her dorm room in Ho-Oh hall as was possible, because she really didn't know what to make of her roommate, Giselle. At the moment, Lorelei was none too fond of Giselle- the girl seemed a bit snobby and overall just wasn't fun to be around.
Lorelei mentally kicked herself for thinking those kinds of negative things about people, even if they happened to be true. After all, Giselle was her roommate, and there was nothing that she could do about that. So might as well make the best of it, right? Give the girl another chance, and all that jazz. That's what Lorelei was good at, after all. Forgive and forget, turn the other cheek, et cetera.
When William walked over and sat on the nearby bench, Lorelei's head automatically turned towards the movement. She quickly took note of the breeder's presence, and then let herself zone out again, going back deep into thought, although her gaze was still trained on the side of William's head.
While her trainer was otherwise occupied, all wrapped up in thought, Jewel suddenly had a mischievous urge hit her. She had spotted William's Pawniard, Knight, out of the corner of her eye. Even though he looked all tough and slightly angry, Jewel was convinced that the fierce-looking Pokemon was a potential friend, not a potential threat. So, as soon as Knight started walking away to pick a fight, Jewel let out a shrill squeal and launched herself at the Pawniard, attempting to glomp him, playfully. She had poor aim, however, and missed by about an inch, flying just to the left of the Pawniard and landed almost in front of him. She was laughing and guffawing like a mad woman... which she probably was.
Lorelei would have been able to recognize that squeal from a mile away. She sat straight up so quickly, she got lightheaded. Ellie was startled- as she had been napping- and she quickly scrambling to her feet, looking shocked and confused. Mack hadn't moved at all, but he was staring at Knight. He was still trying to look tough, though he wasn't exactly sure how.
Lorelei spotted her Spoink quickly- as soon as her vision cleared- and head-palmed. That Jewel would be the death of her.

Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwww” Knight seemed to growl as he held up one of his hands at the laughing Spoink. He wasn’t very friendly, especially towards other Pokemon, and was taking this new Pokemon as an intruder who was looking to start a fight, even though it was plainly obvious to anyone else that the Psychic-type pig just wanted to play. It would have probably attacked too, if Will hadn’t gotten there at that moment.
“Calm down Knight, you don’t have to start fights everywhere you go,” he said with an annoyed tone, as the Pawniard looked down with shame. He hated to guilt trip the poor Pokemon, but he never seemed to learn. Soul floated behind Will’s head in order to hide herself from the Spoink, fearing that it may hurt her. She carefully watched to make sure that it was safe, and slowly crept out from behind her trainer. Will looked around as Knight stood close to his leg, afraid that his master would get angry if he left his side, and Soul played looked at the pig. As Will looked around, he noticed a girl who was observing the whole fiasco. Assuming that the Spoink was her’s, since she had other Pokemon with her, he waved, hoping to catch her attention.
“Hello there! Is this yours?” he said, pointing at the Psychic-type pig. As he asked, he took quick mental notes of her team, noticing that she had two possible matches, depending on her Pokemon’s gender. It was terrible that he was already noting whether he could breed her Pokemon, but that was the kind of mindset the young breeder had. He felt that he needed to take advantage of all possibilities that present themselves to him. Even though he had made a new start at the school, he still couldn’t change the mathematical way his mind worked.
He began walking over to the blue-haired girl, making sure to look constantly out of the corner of his eye towards Knight to make sure he didn't start any trouble, even though he could tell the Dark/Steel type was already hostile to some of her Pokemon. He was too much of the jealous type, he could never let any grudges go. Will put on the most sincere-looking smile he could, offering a hand as he introduced himself. "Sorry for Knight, he has a major issue with any other Pokemon that get in his personal space. Or people, for that matter. He has far too much of a short temper."

As the Pawniard's trainer waved at her, Lorelei decided it was time to own up to being the trouble-maker's trainer. When the boy asked if the Spoink belonged to her, she plastered an apologetic smile onto her face and nodded somewhat sheepishly.
"Yeah, she's mine." Lorelei confirmed, standing up and brushing out her sundress. Jewel, seeing that she had caused a ruckus, was very pleased with herself. She grinned maniacally, but she didn't want to get into serious trouble, so she bounded back to Lorelei, who took advantage of the opportunity and swiftly returned the bounding pig back to her pokeball.
Lorelei took the hand that was offered to her and shook it, smiling. "Hi, I'm Lorelei." She introduced before letting go of his hand. Then, she was surprised to hear the new guy actually apologizing to her! That was a bit backwards from the normal situation. "Oh- um- it's fine, really. Jewel's always getting herself into trouble." She explained. "Sorry for that." She added with a slight nod.
After that, she really wasn't sure what to say, until Ellie trotted up and leaned against Lorelei's thigh. "Oh! This is Ellie, my Deerling, and that Makuhita back there is Mack." She said, gesturing to each Pokemon as she introduced them.
"I'm not too familiar with the Pokemon originating from the Unova region yet," Lorelei admitted, feeling slightly embarassed, "I mean, I know the names of them, but I can't put the name to a face. I've been working on it, but its slow going... but hopefully I'll know more about them by the time classes officially start..." She stopped herself as she realized that she was rambling. "Sorry. Um... I don't really recognize yours. Your Pokemon, that is. Would you mind telling me about them?"
Lorelei blushed slightly. She still wasn't used to talking to strangers- especially male strangers.

Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will smiled as he shook the girl’s hand. He had, of course, observed the three Pokemon that she had and identified all he knew about them, but he wasn’t quite sure of their genders. He noticed that two of them were in the same breeding group, and one was in the same breeding group with one of Will’s own Pokemon, but he had no idea of knowing if they were actually compatible. He shook off the mathematical line of thinking for a while, knowing that he had to be fully interested in the girl from here on in. She seemed like she was new too, and that she was nice enough, at least from his initial judgement of her.
“Oh, it’s no problem really,” he said with a small laugh at her apology. He hadn’t seen the incident first hand, so he had automatically assumed that the whole thing had been Knight’s fault, since he had caused so many problems due to his temper. He was a strong enough Pokemon with a strong work ethic, but his attitude was always far too troublesome. He was glad to hear that he wasn’t at fault with his Pokemon, for once. “My name’s William Lyell, by the way. I’m a first year breeding major here…” he said, as he pointed to the Pawniard, “This is Knight, my Pawniard,” and then he pointed to his other Pokemon, his easily-frightened Psychic type, “And this is Soul, my Solosis.”
As she, quite embarrassingly, mentioned that she had trouble with Unova Pokemon and their names, Will had an ingenious idea. He figured, at least, he could gain a… associate, if not a friend from this whole mess. He smiled, then thought to himself about how he had really never been good with being nice to people, but it was now or never to give it a shot.
“Not to toot my own horn, but I consider myself an expert on that particular area. I could tutor you, if you like. What major are you going into, anyway?” he said with a smirk. He knew, even if he didn’t gain a valuable comrade from this chat, he would at least be able to guilt trip her into letting him breed an egg using one of her Pokemon. He would prefer the first, of course, since no one wants to be all alone at school, but it was always nice to have a backup plan. As he thought to himself about that, Knight had begun walking up to the Makuhita, noticing that it was a fighting-type. It was the perfect opportunity to show that he was the best at battling, to defeat a Pokemon that is 4 time effective against it.

Lorelei looked at Will's two Pokemon as they were introduced to her. She smiled at them, excited because it was a start to filling the gap in her knowledge of the Unova region Pokemon, and also because she just loved to meet new Pokemon. Soul the Solosis seemed especially endearing.
Lorelei's face lit up noticeably when Will offered to tutor her. "Really?" she asked, hardly believing her ears. Nobody that she had met so far had been friendly enough to know her faults without laughing, let alone offer to help remedy them. "That would be fantastic!" She agreed enthusiastically. This was definitely a welcome change from the last encounter she had had with a student. "I would like that very much. Oh, and I'm a training major," She added, almost forgetting to answer his question, "and this is my first year, as well."
Mack still stood behind Lorelei, staring warily at the approaching Pawniard. "Makuu..." He said warningly, trying to prevent the Pokemon from coming over and challenging him to a fight. However, it didn't really seem like that was going to happen. Slightly panicking- but not wanting to show it- Mack used Focus Energy to try and prepare himself for what seemed like an inevitable battle.
Lorelei saw nothing, of course, because it was all happening behind her.

Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “It’s really no problem, I’m a breeder. I need to know pretty much everything about the Pokemon I would need to breed anyway, so I can help you memorize them. You’ll especially need to know a lot if you intend to excel in battling.” Will said, hoping that he wasn’t pulling himself into something that he didn’t like. Well, at least Lorelei seemed to be interested in him and his Pokemon, so that was good enough for him. It would be nice to have someone to talk to here. Soul seemed to agree with her master’s thoughts, slowly levitating toward Lorelei and looking at her face to face. It floated there for a minute, and then let out a happy giggle.
As Will smiled that his Pokemon seemed to like the new trainer, he realized that he didn’t know where his other Pokemon was. He looked around, noticing his Pawniard was walking toward the Makuhita, and knowing Knight he could only be looking for a fight. The breeding major facepalmed hard, not believing how stubborn his Pokemon was. He took out the Dark/Steel type’s pokeball in order to keep the peace, when another idea popped into his head. He could get the Pokemon the exercise they needed while also helping Lorelei.
“Knight, get back here now,” he said in a still irritated tone. Knight froze up, knowing that he was in trouble, and slinking back to his trainer. William sighed, then pushed his glasses back into place, replacing that disappointed frown with a small, confident smirk, “We could start the lessons right now, if you want. And, in my opinion, real life experience always outclasses reading some book when it comes to remembering something. So how about a quick battle? Knight needs to let out some steam, anyway.”

Lorelei smiled as Will assured her that it would be no problem for him to help her. "Thanks so much!" She said gratefully, barely able to contain her excitement and enthusiasm. This was the first person she had met that she could actually call a friend! That realization filled Lorelei with joy, and it was hard for her to keep it all inside. This was turning into a pretty great day!
Her smile broadened with Soul floated over to her, seeming to accept her. Lorelei laughed softly when Soul giggled, glad that she had the approval of at least one of Will's Pokemon.
Speaking of Will's Pokemon, the breeder was once again chastising his Pawniard. Lorelei followed Will's gaze and spotted Mack and Knight, who looked like they were about to duke it out- well, they would have, accept that Will caught them and called back his Pawniard. Lorelei followed suit, calling, "Mack! Come 'ere! Mack meandered on over, keeping himself a safe distance away from Knight.
"Oh, a battle? Sounds great. It'll be my first real one since I got to the academy." Lorelei replied with a grin. That being said, she tried to get into the right mindset for a Pokemon battle. It was pretty difficult- she found it hard to concentrate on anything besides the fact that she had just made a friend. Still, she tried to keep her focus on the battle at hand.
"Okay, Mack, you're up, since Knight was tryin' to pick on you anyway." She told her Makuhita, who immediately rose up to the challenge. Lorelei took a few steps back to give them some room, and Mack took a few steps forward to show that he accepted the challenge. "Maku." He grunted. This was his first battle under Lorelei's direction... but it would be fun. Mack was sure of it.
MACK THE MAKUHITA FIGHTING - THICK FAT - MALE lvl 05TACKLE - FOCUS ENERGY- SAND ATTACK - MOVE -TM - TM
Lorelei nodded encouragingly at Mack. Then she proceeded to glance around to try and take in their surroundings. There wasn't too much to work with here in the courtyard- just the courtyard floor and that bench that Will had originally been resting on. Then Lorelei examined the Pawniard. While she didn't know much about Unova Pokemon, she did know Pokemon types, and she had memorized the type chart that explained what type of moves were effective against what type of Pokemon. She didn't have much to work with in that area, either- although she could assume Knight was a steel type, and she knew that fighting type moves did four times as much damage against steel types, her Makuhita did not know any fighting-type moves. Therefore, the battle seemed to be pretty evenly matched- but that was to be expected with low-level Pokemon, most of the time.
"You may have the first move." Lorelei stated.

Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will smiled as Lorelei rose to the challenge, happy that he had an opportunity to actually train with his Pokemon since he had them. Soul wasn’t much of a fighter, and she didn’t need to be, so he decided that he would save her for later. Besides, Knight had been so keen on entering the battle before, why should he keep him from entering one now? Even if he did have a four times disadvantage against fighting type attacks, it would do him some good to get some of that built up frustration out. Looking down and nodding at Knight, he let a confident smirk go across his face, telling his Pokemon that, for once, it was okay for him to fight with others.
“I have to warn you that even though I’ll try to help you learn as much as you can as you go along, in terms of attacking, I won’t hold back,” he said with a chuckle, as Knight got into a ready stance, ready to fight the Makuhita in order to prove his worth. He would be the top Pokemon on campus if his first fight would be a victory over a type he was horribly outmatched against. Will noticed that Knight was getting overconfident, and decided that now more than ever was a good time to start the battle. He could tell some people were starting to look over, and he didn’t really care. His reputation wouldn’t change despite what would happen in the battle. He was a breeder after all, not a trainer. “Now, since I’m more knowledgable about this stuff, I’ll give you a few hints. If you haven’t already guessed, Knight is part Dark-type and part-Steel type. Now, usually Mack would have the clear advantage… but that’s only if it has a fighting type move. So let’s see how this plays out! Knight, Scratch attack!”
Even though he said that, Knight only had one move to use as well, so it was pretty evenly matched in terms of what attacks they could use. Knight just had the advantage of a Steel-type to absorb normal attacks. Knight ran towards the Makuhita, letting its knife hands drag against the dirt, much to Will’s ire, since he was technically destroying school property, and then attacking with an upwards scratch attack with its powerful, yet small blade-like hands.

Lorelei grinned as Will told her that he wouldn't hold back. "Well, good! Otherwise I'd be learning to play with a handicap!" She replied happily. She listened as Will rattled off the facts about the Pokemon types- she nodded, and made a mental note. 'Pawniard- Dark & Steel.' Then, right before Will gave Knight a command, Lorelei crouched down and fixated her gaze on the Pawniard. "Here we go." She whispered as she heard Will order Knight to perform a scratch attack. She added that to er mental list, along with the assumed level of 5. 'Pawniard- Dark & Steel. At level five, knows Scratch.
"Mack! Don't dodge, wait," Lorelei commanded, speaking low and fast, so that hopefully neither Knight nor Will could hear her, "as soon as you feel the attack hit you, fire off a sand attack right in his face. Get ready." Mack sort of crouched down like his trainer. He wasn't an awesome battler on his own, but with Lorelei's direction, he might be pretty good at it. He put his boxing-gloved hands flat against the ground, feeling the grains of sand and dirt.
As soon as Mack felt Knight's cold blade touch the skin on his upper arm and shoulder, he flung his fists forward and upward, tossing sand and dirt into the Pawniard's face- a sand attack, performed just like Lorelei had commanded.
"Now TACKLE!" Lorelei shouted her next command in order to convey urgency to her Makuhita. Besides, she was pretty sure that- if the urgency really was conveyed to Mack- that neither Knight nor Will would have enough time to react properly. Mack did as he was told, digging his feet into the dirt and launching himself at the Pawniard- who with any luck, might still be slightly stunned from the sand attack (at least, that's what Lorelei was hoping for)- in a tackle attack.
"Good." Lorelei breathed softly, smiling. Then she repeated the compliment so that Mack could actually hear her. "Good!"

Guaranteed to blow your mind….
Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will watched on as his Pokemon charged at the Makuhita. The level the Makuhita was at made all the difference in the world, since a single fighting attack from the Makuhita had a great possibility of one-hitting Knight. It was a roll of the dice, but there was no use in holding back from the start. As he watched Knight uppercut scratch Mack, he noticed that they had never intended to dodge from the beginning. He realized that Lorelei had never intended to do so in the first place. It was a risky move to take the first attack of a battle, but if she wanted to be tenacious, far be it from the breeder to do anything about that. However, it was after the first attack that she made her first mistake of the battle.
Knight put his hands up to try and block some dirt at the last second, but it was too late, and some had gotten in his eyes. This helped to distract the Pawniard, as the Makuhita hit him hard with a tackle attack, pushing him to the ground and even sending him bouncing and rolling a little toward his master. Even though he had gotten hurt by the attack, the Pokemon began chuckling, for reasons that both him and his trainer knew. Will sighed, then began to explain Lorelei’s situation.
“Unfortunately, you just made a tragic error. I really should have told you before to give you a better chance, but I guess there’s no changing the past, is there?” he said with a small frown. He had really wanted to make this more of an even fight, but all things were looking to be in his favor. Hopefully she knew that she should have used a Fighting-type move if it were available, since she said she was fine with typings, so the breeder assumed that the Makuhita was just too low a level to know one. Not to mention that her moves had backfired, as he was going to explain. As he cleared his throat to begin, he could tell that Knight’s ability was kicking in. The Pawniard’s blades could be seen visibly growing a little and getting sharper, and there was a much bigger will to fight than he had before.
“I guess if you didn’t even know Knight’s name or typing before I told you, I really shouldn’t have expected you to know his ability either. The Pawniard line has three abilities, that being Defiant, Inner Focus, and the much more rare, yet more deadly Pressure. Unfortunately, Knight has the ability Defiant, which raises his attack stat by two stages for each stat that you drop. When you attacked with your Sand-Attack, you lowered his accuracy by one stage, but now he has effectively doubled his attack. Which now puts you at a severe disadvantage, if I can assume that your Makuhita has no Fighting moves,” he said, putting his glasses into place with two of his fingers. He had promised to not hold back in attacking, and now he couldn’t go back on his word. “Knight, use Scratch again.”
He didn’t even really need to say it. Knight knew he only had one attack to work with, but now he was more focused and stronger than before.

Lorelei listened intently as Will explained her error, making important mental notes the whole time. 'Defiant...' He seemed disappointed for one reason or another, which Lorelei didn't quite understand. "Well, its certainly a learning experience." She said with a happy grin. Mack huffed, not sharing his trainer's love of learning. "We'll just have to work harder to make sure this battle isn't easy for ya."
Then Lorelei turned her attention to her Makuhita. "Alright, Mack. Get ready." She said as Will began ordering his Pawniard to attack again. Mack nodded and turned back to face Knight. "Dodge- roll!" Lorelei shouted. Mack jumped to the left, hit the ground on his side, and rolled in an arc, then scrambled to his feet.
"Great, now tackle!" Lorelei called. Mack lunged toward the Pawniard, determined to put a dent in the steel type. Well, dark and steel type. Same thing.

Guaranteed to blow your mind….
Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will was a little astounded on how well she was taking her situation. In the past, he had only fought when there was a high chance of winning, but he had just told her that she had made some fatal mistakes, and yet she was enjoying it? He really couldn’t understand why, but he actually liked that. It gave him more enthusiasm to keep going. If she was going to have fun with this fight, then he was too. As his Pawniard missed his attack, he thought quickly on what was the best thing to do. He had already assumed that Tackle was Mack’s only method of attacking, which he assumed was confirmed when Lorelei commanded the attack again, he needed to think of a counterstrategy. Knight wasn’t fast enough to dodge at that distance, so he needed to think of something else.
“Knight, open your arms and let him hit you directly. Then, Scratch again.,” he said with a calm tone, not letting himself get too excited. It was just one battle after all, even though he was surprised at himself for getting so caught up in it. Knight was a little confused at the command, but he understood after a second of thougth what his trainer was thinking. Opening his arms up, he let the Makuhita hit him directly with the tackle, which made it cause a bit more damage, but forced Mack to dig into Knight’s chest blades. It probably wouldn’t do too much damage, but the idea was to keep Mack as close as possible in order to get damage on the fighting-type.
“I must admit that I welcome your tenacity. Many trainers would have paniced when they were in such a negative situation, but you aren’t. That’s a good thing,” he said, with a small chuckle. He was actually having fun with this battle. That was a major shocker. Soul seemed to be confused at her master’s new way of thinking, but liked the change. She watched on with him, getting excited for her turn.

This was turning into quite the close-range battle. Both Pokemon were sacrificing their chance to try to dodge in order to ensure that their next attack would hit. Well, Lorelei didn't feel like changing that right at that moment. But she needed to do something in order to try and keep Will and his Pawniard from getting ahead because of Knight's increased attack.
"Focus Energy!" Lorelei shouted right as Knight was using his scratch attack. Mack obeyed, closing his eyes and scrunching his face up in supreme concentration as he began to... well... focus his energy. "Now, tackle!" Came the next order from Lorelei's lips. Mack charged forward in yet another tackle attack, feeling powered up by his focus energy.
Then, as Will complemented her on her tenacity, she blushed slightly and smiled. "Well... um, thanks." she said, not sure what else to say.

Guaranteed to blow your mind….
Every time! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will thought about what he should do next after he ordered Knight to attack one more time. He certainly had the upper hand, but he couldn’t help but wonder if Lorelei had some other move up her sleeve. He had always been paranoid about risks before, and now was no exception, but he couldn’t help feel like he was missing something. Oh well, there was nothing at stake in the battle either. He noticed that Lorelei seemed to be learning, using another one of Makuhita’s moves to her advantage, and not making the same mistakes twice.
“Knight, get as far back as you can and get reading to dodge. Then Scratch when you can,” he said, never breaking his cool. There really wasn’t much he could say, because Knight only had one move in the first place. The Pawniard really only needed to listen to him in order to know how to deal with Makuhita’s attacks. Speaking of which, he had told Knight to get back specifically in order avoid critical hits. Now that Mack had used Focus Energy, his attacks could actually be devastating, even with the Pawniard’s Steel typing. As the Makuhita began running toward Knight, the Dark/Steel type decided to dodge at the last second in order to get a decent shot in before the Makuhita had a chance to recover, but waiting that long was a mistake, as Mack was able to get a decent Tackle to Knight’s side. The Pawniard took a second to recover, and then in a frenzy began trying to scratch at the Fighting-type. Will observed the fight, noting that if Knight continued like this for too long he may have to call the fight. Though, to be honest, he was interested on how Lorelei would react in this situation.
