UPDATE: teachers!

it's teaching time, y'all!

at the beginning of each month, a teacher makes a thread in the lecture hall. their classes will be mentioned in the board description as: one lecture underway by mrs. blah. in the thread, they would go through a "lesson" of sorts, maybe roleplaying it out, maybe just a single post. at the end, the teacher would assign an assignment or a project and sets a deadline. once the class is dismissed, each student is required one thread where they prove that they have been trying to finish the assignment or project.

either in a mod thread or a roleplay thread or a thread with just one post. but it has to be a spankin' good thread. mind you, making one thread where it's just you and you alone requires tones o' description and stuff. once every student has done a thread or the deadline has been met, the teacher would make a new thread in the hall and the students would show what they have done to finish the project. the teacher would then end the thread with a reward for each student.

teachers you are allowed any sort of project, so long as it fits under the context of whatever subject you've decided to teach. students remember to keep up with the amount of work that is required of you to give when it comes to the assignments. if you do not post within the deadline, the teacher might consider giving you a failure for the project.



for a breeder: they will be required to show at least three well-breeded eggs at the end of term. for example, have your students choose a pokemon from their team. then, set out to search for a new pokemon of the opposite gender to be the mother/father of the egg. students must be aware of the egg group. so it will give you a chance to lecture on that. a reward for the person best able to keep diary entries on the mother, father, and egg could keep the egg as a gift. all other eggs will be offered up for adoption.

for the coordinators: they need to be ready for a big contest at the end. that's an appeal round and a battle round for this rpg. an assignment example is to give them two temporary tms to teach a pokemon on their team and have them create a brief appeal round. you could make it into a competition and award the student who wins with a set of seals, a few berries, a scarf, a tm, etc.

for the trainers: they're gonna be facing each other in an end-of-the-school-year tournament. an example of a project would be: catch and train a wild pokemon of the type your teacher asks for. and use it in an in-class battle against a fellow classmate. the winner will be able to keep the pokemon he/she caught if so desired.



do you know what this means? we are opening teacher positions! woop, woop! :D however, we are not looking for 53457634780 teachers. only three / four for right now. c: seeing as how most people have chosen the training route, we need some training teachers for first and second years. though we may just blend all years together for one class. we're not sure yet. c:

My character I'm considering putting in for a teacher position is both the trainer type and the breeder type... So she could do either. Would it be best for her to be a Training Teacher until we get more breeders? And maybe she could privately tutor the Breeding students until there are too many for her to do that. Is that acceptable? :3

Also, is there some sort of audition I have to complete first?
