THE FOREST WAS A PLACE WHERE AMMY COULD BE HER own self, and not worry about anyone catching her in the act of being, oh hit me for saying it, but happy. how odd it would be, for someone to actually see her showing her true colors to her friends the trees. they whispered softly to her as she strolled along the trail of dark brown soil that was dotted with the occasional root or log. so far she hadn't seen any pokemon, especially not the ones she had come to look for. oh how she longed for a pikachu or minun! they were so adorable, she would never make them stay in their pokeball. unless of course they wanted too.
currently, both her pokemon hid inside of their pokeballs. they did not like to come out unless they was some sort of water nearby whether it be a river or a water bottle. sometimes even the tiniest drop of water on their pokeball would bring them out to explore. but right now it was dry, dark, and lonely. now she wished both elmo and prima would come out of their pokeballs. this place is sort of creepy...when you are by yourself. oh why was she thinking these things! she was only going to creep herself out more!
cursing under her breath, she continued on in search of a cute electric type pokemon.

A WILD MAREEP APPEARED ! MALE. FIVE. STATIC. ELECTRIC. TACKLE - GROWL
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, the same would go for cuteness, right? Logic would dictate that cuteness is in the eye of the beholder. Well, call this particular Mareep cute and he might just jump five feet in the air and bite through your neck and play soccer with your head, leaving your body to be eaten by a gang of wild Raticate.
Because he was not cute. Oh, no. Not this Mareep. This wild Mareep was many things: tough, cool, and fantastically awe-inspiring, on a good day. But never cute. Never. Just, no.
The tough-guy Mareep was a couple yards ahead, grazing on a patch of stubby green grass that happened to be located just a few feet off the beaten trail that Ammy was strolling along. Mmm, grass. As a matter of fact, the wild Mareep was so involved in his meal, that he didn't even notice Ammy's approach. Blissfully oblivious was he.

WHAT WAS THIS? A LONE MAREEP IN THE FOREST! HOW outstanding this was! oh glory, oh happiness, oh joy! a smile crept up onto ammy's face, a sincere one. the one she only used around a crush, friend, or family. oh how she had missed that smile! it made her cheeks burn red and ache, and her pearly whites glistened in the sun. she needed to capture this pokemon, she needed more than just water types after all. luckily for ammy this pokemon was completley unaware of her very prescense and she was a mere few feet away. if she wanted to be electricuted she could go and grab it right now up into an embrace! but no, she would battle this one, and battle it well.
quietly she snuck a hand into her pink bag and grasped upon, who else's, elmo's pokeball. she snapped the capsule, and out popped elmo. completley horrified to be out of her ball. she panicked at first, but then froze when she saw the mareep. oh i hope we haven't alerted it! the good thing was, that even though elmo was a water type, electric moves aren't very effective on her. so, they could be daring with a tackle, since electric moves very well don't work on an electric type too well now do they?
with almost a whisper, ammy let out her command. "ok elmo, use tackle and then dart back as quick as you can! the tynamo nodded, quickly assuring ammy that she would get the job done as soon and as quick as possible. so without a sound, elmo floated towards the mareep. then darted quickly trying to land a blow onto its body while the wild pokemon wasn't looking. _____________________________________________________

A WILD MAREEP APPEARED ! MALE. FIVE. STATIC. ELECTRIC. TACKLE - GROWL
(you only get the wiggly sprites the first time. xD)
The wild Mareep was definitely caught unawares by Elmo's tackle attack. The tackle landed right on the Mareep's fluffy side, and a soft little "Mar!" escaped from his sheep-lips. That translated, roughly, into "oof". Roughly. The Mareep became quite enraged. What kind of Pokemon could sneak up on him? He whipped around. Oh, a levitating fish Pokemon. Of course. You had to watch out for those levitating Pokemon, they were tricksy.
"MAREEEEEEEEP!" A war cry burst forth from the sheepy Pokemon. This one had quite the temper, he did. And he wasted no time retaliating. But instead of fixating on Elmo, he fixated on Ammy. It was obvious who was behind this all, of course. Most trained Pokemon did not attack wild Pokemon without orders from there trainer. So, therefore, it was this girl's fault that he had just been tackled.
And, so, the wild Mareep charged at Ammy. Either he'd knock the girl down, or the sneaky, levitating fish Pokemon would jump in and take the hit for his trainer, like any good Pokemon would. Either way, the Mareep would win. Right? ...Right?

YES! THE ATTACK WORKED, BUT THE MAREEP WAS QUICK to wheel around and counter. but it was strange how it came about this attack. it seemed as though it panicked as it lunged itself towards ammy instead of the tynamo. strange, but awesome! yep, this is definetly a pokemon for me! she basically chuckled in her head. "elmo, stay back. i got this one covered!" she yelled quickly to her tynamo who was about to jump in the way of the attacker and her master.
ammy pushed her feet harder into the ground, bent her knees, and braced herself. suddenly the mareep made impact and sent ammy, and the mareep, crashing to the ground. before it could escape ammy tightly clutched the mareep to her body, and ordered her tynamo with wool in her mouth, "quick use tackle on it!" apparently elmo cared enough not to hurt her, as she stared at the trainer with confusion in her eyes. now ammy's face turned bright red with anger. "NOW!" she screamed. "tynamoooooo!" her pokemon lunged forward, but at the last second veered up. why was she doing this now?
"come on hit it!" ammy was shrieking as she knew this mareep could come loose at any moment, she was lucky to be holding onto it now. but elmo shook her head, and suddenly, darted into ammy's bag, and returned with an empty pokeball capsule. ammy let go of the mareep, and grabbed it quickly, and threw it blindly at the mareep. oh i hope i hit it! _____________________________________________________

A WILD MAREEP APPEARED ! MALE. FIVE. STATIC. ELECTRIC. TACKLE - GROWL
The wild Mareep was quite impressed with the tenacity of this trainer. However... he did not like where he ended up. It was like this girl was gonna hug him to death. "Mar. Eep. Mar." The Pokemon huffed as he wriggled around, trying to break loose. All he managed to do was turn himself sideways so that he was facing the confused floating fish. Wait, what was the fish doing? That didn't look like any tackle attack that the Mareep had ever seen. But- wait- what was that? A pokeball? Oh no, he didn't!
"Reeeep!" The wild Mareep bleated, flailing madly as the pokeball was tossed at him. He intended to kick it away, but that didn't quite work. He did kick it, but... he kicked the button. What luck. The pokeball started to fly away, but as it did it opened up and sucked the Mareep instead. "Eeeepp..." Came the Mareep's last cry before the pokeball closed.
The pokeball now containing the Mareep landed on the dirt. It wiggled. And wiggled. And wiggled. And kept on wiggling, for nearly a whole minute. But then, the Mareep finally exhausted itself, and the pokeball stopped wiggling. Instead, it clicked, signifying that the Mareep had been successfully caught.
[/div] you caught the mareep ! [/center] [/blockquote]
